Our story
Marlowe opened in 2018 as a twelve-square-metre shop on Rose Lane. The workshop came a year later, two doors down, when we got tired of explaining to factories what "a little looser in the shoulder" meant.
Today six people cut, sew and sell everything you see here. We make about four hundred pieces a month, and we know where every metre of fabric came from.

How we make
Linen from Belgium, wool from Scotland, organic cotton from Portugal. No polyester, no blends we cannot explain.
Forty to sixty pieces per style. When they sell out, we make more, we do not discount what is left.
A loose button, a torn hem, a zip: bring it back and we fix it, free, for as long as you own it.
